This is the place for fresh fish, meat, vegetables, salads, etc.

Fish is fresh from Chrysochous Bay daily.  Meat is slaughtered locally.  Vegetables and salads are mostly home-produced and are generally not seasonal.

Vegetarians are well catered for.

Keo and Carlsberg beer are produced on the island. 

Cypriot wines have improved dramatically in recent years, and are very reasonably priced.

Local and imported spirits are very reasonably priced due to low taxation.

Most restaurants and bars in Latchi and Polis operate to international standards.  More traditional Cypriot coffee shops and tavernas tend to be found in villages away from the coast and in the mountains.

General provision stores are numerous in Latchi and Polis.  They are open seven days during the tourist season and closed Sundays in winter.  There is a large national supermarket in Polis.

As Polis is a working village, almost all other non-food essentials can be found in the numerous local and national shops.
